HEREFORD JUNIORS COMPETE IN NATIONAL CONTESTS

Kansas City, Mo. — More than 600 youth and their families gathered at the 2006 Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) in Louisville, Ky., July 15-22, to show and celebrate the Hereford breed. The Kentucky and Ohio Hereford and junior Hereford associations hosted the event at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center.

In addition to the cattle show, juniors and adults competed in skill-based contests ranging from judging to team fitting, and even a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. The JNHE awards ceremony was sponsored by Vita Ferm. Contest winners are as follows:
