Charolais enthusiasts
gathered the week of June 26-30 in Springfield, Missouri for the American International
Junior Charolais Association National Junior Shows and Leadership Conference.
It was a record setting week with numbers of over 400 head of cattle and nearly
300 participants. Dan Hoge of Kewanee, Illinois, evaluated the Owned Heifers
on June 30 before selecting his champions.
Ms Kit Kat P509 claimed Grand Champion honors for Chase Patman of Waxahachie,
Texas. This April 4, 2005, daughter of RA Big Cat 9017 Pld, first claimed
Division 2 honors.
Reserve Grand Champion honors went to the Division 3 winner, LT Foundation Breeze
5211, a March 7, 2005, daughter of LT Wyoming Wind 4020 Pld, owned by Cameron
Ward of Plattsburg, Missouri.
