The Summit Sale will be on October 13th at 12:30 p.m. and will feature top quality bulls and Brangus Gold and Brangus Premium Gold females. This premier offering will offer cattlemen top genetics, with each lot having individual performance data and EPDs. The Summit also features a non-haltered registered Brangus pen and individual bull and heifer competitions. Entries will be evaluated independently by a committee of five commercial cattle producers utilizing phenotypic and adjusted performance information as well as EPDs.

Other activities include meetings of the standing committees of the International Brangus Breeders Association (IBBA) and the IBBA Board of Directors.

A trade show will also be part of the three day event and an educational program will be presented at 10 am. on October 13th. Speakers and topics include Greg Comstock, Red Angus Association of America's, marketing programs coordinator, who will speak on “Commercial Marketing Programs Drive Increases in Registrations, Membership and Income for Breed Associations;” Homer Buell, Shovel Dot, Ranch, Bassett, Nebraska who will talk on “A commercial producers view of performance data and buying bulls” and Dr. Tom Field, Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colorado, who will address the crowd on “The Future Belongs to Whoever Serves the Commercial Cattle Industry.”

This event has been designed to be family-oriented event and all events will be held at the San Antonio Livestock Exposition.
