COW CREEK RANCH SALE SET FOR OCTOBER 13 AND 14, 2006

Cow Creek Ranch 350-head Bull Sale and 600-head Commercial Brangus Bred Heifer Sale has been set for Friday and Saturday, October 13 and 14, 2006, at the ranch near Aliceville, Alabama. The bull sale will feature Cow Creek Ranch Brangus, Ultrablack® and Angus bulls. The heifers selling are sired by Cow Creek Ranch bulls and bred back to Cow Creek Ranch bulls.

“It's overwhelming to see the quality of this year's bulls. Every year the muscle mass, thickness and power of our bull offering increases tenfold, says Joe Reznicek, Cow Creek Ranch owner. A lot of our progress can be attributed to power of our cow herd. The average age of our cows is four and one-half years old. When you're in the bull business, that's significant. Turning generations and allowing each calf to be raised naturally by its own dam has advanced our herd by leaps and bounds. This is only way to make true genetic progress and provide our customers with higher quality product every year,” says Reznicek.

The bulls sell on Saturday, October 14th at 11 am. The commercial bred heifers sell on Friday, October 13th beginning a 1:30 pm. The heifers will sell in groups of five head. All heifers are Cow Creek Ranch customer-owned.
