SIMBRAH CHAMPIONS ANNOUNCED FROM HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW

BOZEMAN, MT. The quality ran deep at this year's Simbrah show held at the Houston Livestock Show, February 28, 2007, in Houston, Texas. This year's event featured many high-quality cattle, but also showcased the successes of Texas breeders.

Dominating the highly competitive female division and going home with the top honor of Grand Champion Female and Junior Champion Heifer, was “Smith Bella Bella”, sired by Smith Nu Wave and exhibited by Kara Elizabeth Finch, Anderson, TX. Finch also exhibited the Reserve Intermediate Champion Heifer, “Smith Isgrig Ava”, sired by Smith Nu Wave.

The Bull division featured exceptional genetics and was led by Grand Champion Bull and the Bull Calf Champion, “Hagans Ante Up 51S”, sired by NF Smith Sargeant and exhibited by Hagan Cattle Company, Yoakum, TX.

Parading before open judge Neely Nelson, Houston, TX, the following animals received top honors in their respective classes at the 2007 Houston Livestock Show.
