SPECIAL CATTLEMEN'S OFFERS AVAILABLE AT THE 2007 IOWA BEEF EXPO

Both buyers and consignors, young and old attending the 2007 Iowa Beef Expo, which is being held February 11-18, 2007, will have the opportunity to take advantage of special “Cattlemen's Offers” being provided at the country's largest state beef expo.

Long time supporter of the Iowa Beef Expo, Hawkeye Breeders Service of Adel, Iowa will be offering one free semen collection on any bull that brings $2000 or more in any of the breed sales held during the week long Expo event. The bull must be presented to either the Adel, Iowa or Mitchell, South Dakota collection site.

Trans Ova Genetics of Sioux Center, Iowa, will be offering to the purchaser of the High Selling Female in each breed selling 25 head or more at the 2007 Iowa Beef Expo, one free embryo flush on the female of his/her choice from his/her breeding herd and three free transfers into the owners recipients. Muir Embroidery of Jefferson, Iowa along with Cargill Animal Nutrition of West Branch, will present specially embroidered Iowa Beef Expo Jackets to the consignors of the High Selling Bull and High Selling Female in each sale. Jackets must be ordered before the end of the 2007 Iowa Beef Expo.

All buyers registered prior to the start of each of the Breed Sales and Replacement Commercial Heifer Sale held at the Iowa Beef Expo, will be eligible for specially embroidered Iowa Beef Expo caps donated by Hawkeye Tack and Western Wear, located directly across from the Iowa State Fairgrounds. A separate drawing will be held for each of the sales scheduled during the Expo.

Hawkeye Tack and Western Wear of Des Moines, Iowa along with Sullivan Supply of Dunlap, Iowa will be presenting special awards on Saturday, February 17, 2007 to the top winners in the 2006 IJBBA Show Point Program.

Again this year, Kent Feeds Inc. of Muscatine, Iowa, Featherlite Inc., Cresco, Iowa, and The Big Steer Restaurant of Altoona, Iowa will be teaming up to provide the Junior Exhibitors with a complimentary IJBBA Kick-Off Party which will be held Friday.
