Conrad, Iowa, May 15, 2007 Ritchie Industries, the leading manufacturer of automatic watering fountains, announces the release of their updated OmniFounts, now available. The latest release includes the addition of a mid-range waterer, the Omni 3, to the product family. This unit is designed to install on the same concrete pad as the current Cattle Fountain 3. All three OmniFounts (Omni 2, Omni 3 and Omni 5) carry a newly designed drop-in valve cover. The new design allows for efficient water run-off. The result is a product that reduces dirt and other grime accumulation in the water seal groove.

The new OmniFounts blend technology from both traditional stainless steel units and the newest poly materials. The stainless steel trough features heat elements attached to the underside of the trough for frost-free service under the most severe winter conditions. The trough carries a 10-year, 100 percent warranty against manufacturing defects or corrosion.

The body of the OmniFount is made from Ritchie's heavy-duty polyethylene construction. The fountain is insulated with highly energy-efficient polyurethane foam, providing an R-factor of 7 per inch. OmniFount's polyethylene casing carries a 10-year limited warranty (100 percent for the first five years and prorated for the next five years against manufacturing defects).

The OmniFount series is well suited for livestock, dairy and horse operations. It was originally introduced in 1996.

Ritchie Industries is celebrating 85 years of business this year.
