LIMOUSIN JUNIORS PREPARE FOR THREE REGIONAL SHOWS

Limousin juniors and enthusiasts from all parts of the nation will gather at three regional junior Limousin shows this summer.

The Heartland Limousin Association (HLA) will host the Heartland Regional Junior Limousin Show in Spencer, Iowa, June 8–9. The Western Regional Junior Limousin Show will coincide with the Western Limousin Exposition (WLE) in Klamath Falls, Ore., June 14–17. The Southeast Limousin Breeders Association (SELBA) will host the Eastern Regional Junior Limousin Show in Murfreesboro, Tenn., June 15–17.

Rod Ogren of Marcus, Iowa, will judge the show in Spencer. Jared Shipman of Lockney, Texas, will sort the entries in Klamath Falls. SELBA has not confirmed its judge yet.

For more information, call NALF at (303) 220-1693. Or visit its Internet home page (www.nalf.org), click the “Juniors” link on the left, and open the summer 2007 NALJA News or Limousin show schedule.

The North American Limousin Foundation (www.nalf.org), headquartered in Centennial, Colo., provides programs and services – including genetic evaluation of 5,000 active sires – to more than 4,000 members and their commercial customers. The Limousin breed and its Lim Flex® hybrid lead the beef industry in muscle-growth efficiency and ideally complement British breeds.
