With today's expanding technology and 24/7 business atmosphere, cattlemen remain challenged to stay up to date with the latest advancements. The South Dakota Cattlemen's Association (SDCA) provides members with the opportunity to network and learn about the latest products and services available to them at the 59th Annual Convention and Trade Show, November 28-29, 2007 at the Watertown Event Center and Ramkota Hotel.
The tradeshow contains a diverse selection of booths and exhibitors featuring products ranging from animal identification tools to livestock handling equipment, financial institutions, animal health products and service providers. Trade Show attendees will have the opportunity to network with key personnel representing the businesses that serve cattlemen and are important to the continued success of our livestock operations. This year's event promises to be a big success, with a sold-out show we will be utilizing all available booth space at the Watertown Event Center.
“We are very pleased to have over 60 companies participating in our trade show this year. Exhibitors plan to educate beef producers on advancements in the cattle industry while listening to their concerns and answering questions that arise,” said Scott Jones, SDCA President.
SDCA will also be auctioning the one-year's use of a Silencer Chute donated by Dubas Cattle Company, the one-year's use of a feeder mixer donated by Sioux Automation, and a tub and alley system donated by Vern's Manufacturing. These companies have generously donated the use of these items, allowing the winning bidder to use these products for a year while also supporting SDCA's President's Travel Fund.
“SDCA feels providing the opportunity to test these products will be a valuable asset to the winning bidder's business. We're pleased to partner with these companies to present unique opportunities to our members,” said Jones.
