Each breed association will handle sale entries so if you are interested in consigning to a sale you are encouraged to contact the respective breed sale manager listed below. The Iowa Beef Expo may be several months away, but one should be looking toward marketing decisions. The Iowa Beef Expo has earned a reputation for offering the largest selection of quality seedstock in the Midwest.
The Commercial Trade Show held in the Cattle Barn at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, in conjunction with the Iowa Beef Expo offers a central Midwest location and convenient access from I-235. The Commercial Tradeshow offers a personal atmosphere for both buyers and sellers. For Iowa and the surrounding states, it offers seedstock producers, commercial producers, feedlot operators, and other agriculturalists the best opportunity to see all that technology has to offer their program. For exhibitors, it is an opportunity to get your products and services in front of potential customers. The tradeshow features a full array of the finest livestock equipment, genetic companies and livestock services available.
Cattlemen attending the 2008 Iowa Beef Expo will find a tremendous Live Display of the country's most widely promoted A.I. sires. A special aisle in the barn is set aside to allow breeders who desire to display the top individuals from their herd. Many nationally known A.I. Sires have been on display in the past. Live Display exhibitors are not required to stay for the duration of the Expo, but rather have the option to select which days they wish to be on display.
