COW CREEK RANCH TO DONATE YOUTH FOUNDATION HEIFER

Cow Creek Ranch, LLC, Aliceville, Ala., has generously donated for auction Ms CRC Newt 237T. The proceeds will be used for advancement and education of the International Junior Brangus Breeders (IJBBA) youth organization. The heifer will sell Saturday, June 14, 2008, during the Salacoa Valley Farms Plenty of Class Brangus Female Sale, near Fairmount, Ga.

The heifer was originally donated as the 2008 IJBBA Foundation female by Chimney Rock Cattle Co., Concord, Ark., and subsequently sold during the International Brangus Breeders Genetic Edge XIII Sale, Houston, Texas. Cow Creek Ranch along with a group of staunch Brangus supporters purchased the female and by the luck of the draw, Cow Creek Ranch became the female's new home. Cow Creek Ranch has chosen to donate this heifer back to Foundation for resale. MS CRC Newt 237T was A.I.'d on April 25, 2008, to CCR Sleep Easy 9L2.

Cow Creek Ranch will hold its 350-head bull sale on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at the ranch near Aliceville, Ala.
