Klaus Birkel announced today the final and complete dispersal of the Camp
Cooley Ranch registered cow herd. This herd, unmatched in the industry, is the culmination of 15 years of unparalleled breeding and management practices with a continual quest to stay on the leading edge of the genetic curve.
The sale of this great herd is the result of the complete restructuring of Camp
Cooley Ranch from a breeding facility into a new entity, Camp
Cooley Genetics, which will be solely a consulting and marketing company, focused on assisting its customers to maximize their profits.
All registered females will sale on Thursday, November 13th at the Ranch. In total 333 Brangus females and 122 Charolais females will sell – 210 Fall Pairs, 85 Spring-Bred Heifers and 112 Weaned Heifer Calves along with 18 Donors and 30 Yearling Heifers. This great female sale will be held in conjunction with Camp
Cooley Ranch's Annual Bull Sale scheduled for Friday, November 14th and Saturday, November 15th with a total of 1,000 Brangus, Charolais, and Angus bulls selling. An equipment dispersal will be held on Sunday, November 16th.
