NATIONAL WESTERN EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS
Denver – The 103rd edition of the National Western Stock Show, Horse Show and Rodeo came to a close on Sunday, Jan. 25 as crowds gathered for a sold-out ProRodeo performance. With nearly every day of the show surrounded by warm, sunny weather, overall attendance exceeded expectations.
Over the National Western's 16-day run, filled with livestock shows, horse shows, professional rodeos and more, a total of 643,100 spectators visited the National Western Complex. Down a mere 4.51% from a record setting 2008 show, National Western organizers could not be more pleased.
This marks the 12th consecutive year the National Western has reported attendance of more than 600,000 spectators, making the Stock Show Denver's largest convention annually.
