Denver, July 26, 2012 -- North American Limousin Foundation (NALF) announces the promotion of Joe Epperly to assistant executive director. As the assistant executive director, Epperly will be taking on more responsibilities with performance and DNA oversight. Joe was instrumental towards NALF reaching an agreement with GeneSeek for the genomic profiler for Limousin to incorporate MBV's into their upcoming cattle evaluations this winter.

"Epperly has the extensive background and leadership capabilities that are needed for this position," said Mark Anderson, executive director, NALF. "I am confident that Joe will excel and assist in growing the Foundation and help to take us to the next level."

For the past 20 months Epperly has served NALF as the commercial marketing director where he has worked with commercial cow-calf producers, auction markets and feedlots to grow demand and value for Limousin influenced feeder cattle.

"I am more than ready to take on my new responsibilities at NALF," said Epperly. "There is a wealth of opportunity for the Limousin breed and I am ready to step up and continue to not only help producers connect and market their cattle, but also to assist in growing the Foundation and getting the breed the recognition it deserves."

Epperly began his new duties at NALF on July 23. He can be reached by contacting the NALF office at 303.220.1693 or Joe@nalf.org.
