Reaching back to mid-March I have a few sales I need to report on.

The sale grossed $63,850 on 63 lots to average $1,725. Pairs grossed $11,250 on five lots to average $2,250. Bred females grossed $20,900 on 10 lots to average $2,090. Open heifers grossed $6,300 on four lots to average $1,575. Bulls grossed $25,400 on 18 lots to average $1,411. A large crowd was on hand to select through the sale offering. I had a great time at the sale visiting with these Romagnola producers while representing CATTLE TODAY and helping ringside.

I was in Petersburg, Tenn. for the KenCo Cattle Co. Family Matters Angus Sale at the ranch. A large crowd was on hand to select through the sale offering. Sale manager for the sale was Jarvene Shackelford with American Livestock Brokers.

The Ray Cattle Company 6th Annual Female Production Sale was held at the ranch in Hackleburg, Ala. Owner Paul Ray and ranch manager Kyle Norris offered an excellent set of Angus cattle. The sale grossed $918,100 on 95 lots to average $9,664. Marketing agent for the sale was Dick Beck. As always I had a great time being part of the Ray Cattle Co.
