He might not be my biggest fan by size; however he is a fan and a friend of mine. Meet Wheeler Allen this three year old cowboy has been watching me and pointing me out to his mom and dad at sales for years. Well maybe not years. However last Saturday at the Macedon Angus Farm Sale, Mrs. Allen finally introduced me to Wheeler. I have to confess I think I was as happy if not happier to meet Wheeler as Wheeler was meeting me. Thanks Mrs. Allen for introducing Wheeler and I. Wheeler I hope to see you at many more sales.
As I mentioned earlier, I was on hand representing CATTLE TODAY and helping ringside at the Macedon Farms and Guests Angus Sale, Vol. II held May 9th at the ranch in Madison, Ala. Greg and Lile Blythe owners of Macedon Farms along with guest consigners offered an excellent set of Angus females. The sale grossed $137,545 on 63 lots to average $2,185. Sale manager was Jarvene and Pat Shackelford with American Livestock Brokers.
