The Salacoa Valley Farms Plenty Of Class Registered Brangus Female Sale was held June 13^th at the ranch in Fairmount, Ga. Owners David and Susan Vaughan and ranch manager Ben Spitzer, along with guest consignors offered and excellent set of Brangus Females. The sale grossed $155,450 on 78 lots to average $1,992. One flush sold for $10,500. Donor cows grossed $14,000 on 4 lots to average $3,500. Pairs grossed $52,300 on 29 lots to average $1,803. Bred heifers grossed $57,850 on 32 lots to average $1,807. Bred cows grossed $9,750 on 6 lots to average $1,625. Open heifers grossed $11,050 on 6 lots to average $1,841. Topping the sale was lot 1, a pick of Salacoa Valley herd flush, with buyer’s option on sire selection, sold for $10,500 to Santa Rosa Brangus Ranch, Kent Smith in Navasota, Texas.
