The 52nd Annual Tifton Gain Evaluation Bull Test Sale was held March 3rd at the Tifton Bull Evaluation Center in Irwinville, GA. The sale was sponsored by the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association and The University of Georgia. A large crowd of cattlemen filled the sale facilities to select through the bulls.
The sale Grossed $152,900 on 84 bulls to average $1,820.
Angus bulls grossed $86,700 on 42 lots to average $2,064.
Charolais bulls grossed $6,000 on 4 lots to average $1,500.
Gelbvieh bulls grossed $7,400 on 6 lots to average $1,233.
Gelbvieg % bulls grossed $4,100 on 3 lots to average $1,367.
Hereford bulls grossed $7,600 on 4 lots to average $1,900.
Limousin bulls grossed $2,600 on 2 lots to average $1,300.
Simmental bulls grossed $23,500 on 16 lots to average $1,469.
Sim-Angus bulls grossed $15,000 on 7 lots to average $1,820.
