Sale reports Willow Oak Ranch Sale & Alabama BCIA Sale

Willow Oak Ranch 26th Anniversary Sale Featuring The Best Black Bull In America and Some Great Females Too Sale was held February 20th at the ranch in Rogersville, TN. 

Richard Alan Arnold owner of Willow Oak Ranch along with Ranch manager John Coble and Scott Coble offered a strong set of ChiAngus bulls and an excellent set of ChiAngus females. 

The sale grossed $352,550 on 137 lots to average $2,573. 

Bulls grossed $295,900 on 93 lots to average $3,182. 

Females grossed $52,400 on 32 lots to average $1,325. 

I always have a great time representing CATTLE TODAY and helping ringside at the Willow Oak Ranch sale. 

 

Alabama BCIA 21st Annual EPD Bull & BCIA Genetic Verified Heifer Sale was held February 26th in Montgomery, AL. 

Sale coordinator was Michelle F. Elmore

The sale grossed $80,210. 

Bulls averaged $1,534 on 47 lots. 

Angus bulls averaged $1,613 on 34 lots. 

One Brangus bull sold for $1,900. 

Chrolais bulls averaged $810 on 5 lots. 

Simmental bulls averaged $1,614 on 7 lots. 

Open heifers averaged $676 on 12 lots.

I was on hand representing CATTLE TODAY and helping ringside.
