Southeast Brangus Breeders Association Showcase Sale Report

Southeast Brangus Breeders Association Showcase Sale was held August 27th at the Covington Arena in Andalusia, AL.  Sale manager Doug Williams and sale chairman Fred McCreary brought a great group of Brangus breeders together and offered an outstanding set of Brangus cattle.

The sale grossed $101,750 on 52 lots to average $1,957.

High selling open heifer was lot 49 L&W Miss Leadgun 389Y, consigned by L&W Cattle in Mocksville, NC., and sold for $3,100 to Shelby Marsh in Greensboro AL.

High selling bred heifers was lot 11 CNF Miss Isaac 77W16, consigned by Char-No Farms in Williamson, GA., and sold for $2,600 to Richard Greuel in Fayetteville, GA.  Lot 56 MF Miss Jesse 174X2 consigned by McCreary Farms in Evergreen, AL., and sold for $2,600 to James Bradley in Hartselle, AL.

High selling 3-n-1 was lot 5 BWCC 487Y, consigned by Blackwater Cattle Company in Lake Park, GA., sold for $5,600 to Enzor Brangus in Frisco City, AL.

High selling bred cow was lot 42 Miss KC Sundance, consigned by KC Farms in Sale Creek, TN., and sold for $2,400 to Larry Stricklin in Brantley, AL.

I had a great time working with this group of brangus breeders.
