Columbia Livestock Market Presents the Southern Pride Heifer Sale was held October 2nd at the Columbia Livestock Market in Lake City, FL.
John Willis sale manager and owner of Columbia Livestock Market brought this great group of consigners together and offered a good set of young bred heifers.
The sale ranged between $850 and $1,075 on 300 head of young bred heifers.
As always I had a great time working with this group of cattlemen representing CATTLE TODAY and helping ringside.

Compton Charolais will offer 65 powerful breeding age bulls with several herdsire prospects.

 2009 SVF commercial customer of the year: Gene Fulford, KICCO Ranch in Okeechobee, FL. & David Vaughan owner of SVF. Salacoa Valley Farms Performance Tested Brangus Bull Sale was held September 26th at the Calhoun Stockyards in Calhoun, Georgia.
David and Susan Vaughan owners, Ben Spitzer general manager of Salacoa Valley Farms along with guest consigners offered an outstanding set of Brangus Bulls.
The sale grossed $177,800 on 78 lots to average $2,279.
Sale manager was John and Debbie Maurer with Maurer Sales Company.

 Baxter Black and Luke Mobley 2008 Cow Creek Ranch Sale Cow Creek Ranch Bull Sale and 15th Annual Commercial Heifer Sale will be held October 9th & 10th at the ranch in Aliceville, AL.
Friday October 9th 1:30pm 500 Commercial Brangus Bred Heifers all heifers sired by Cow Creek bulls and bred back to Cow Creek bulls.
Saturday October 10th 12:30 300 Cow Creek Ranch Bulls forage based Brangus, Ultrablack, Angus sale. Cow Creek Ranch bull are Longer, Deeper, Thicker, and more Efficient.

Bobby Lynn and Family owner of Lynn Angus and Thetus Horner owner of Four Hills Farm along with guest consigners offered a great set of Angus cattle.
The sale grossed $77,400 on 64 lots to average $1,209. Bulls grossed $4,200 on 3 lots to average $1,400. Females grossed $73,200 on 61 lots to average $1,200.
A large group of cattlemen filled the sale facilities.

 Hans Wittenburg Edna, TX purchased one of the top selling lots and Ted Cain sale host and seller of the top lot. SEBBA Miss Beefmaster America Heifer Futurity & Convention Sale
was held September 11th & 12th at the Cain Cattle Company sale facility in Pickens, MS.
Sale manager Mike Green with 3G Sales & Services brought a great group of consigners together to offer an outstanding set of Beefmaster cattle.
The sale grossed $132,900 on 62 lots to average $2,144. Bulls grossed $3,900 on 2 lots to average $1,950. 3n1 grossed $11,600 on 7 lots to average $1,657. Pairs grossed $28,400 on 14 lots to average $2,029. Breds grossed $35,000 on 18 lots to average $1,944. Open heifers grossed $14,200 on 11 lots to average $1,291. Picks grossed $39,700 on 10 lots to average $3,970.
There was a good group of cattlemen was on hand to select through the sale offering.
