Southern Cattle Company “Less Feed, More Gain Bull Sale” was held October 24 at the ranch in Marianna, FL. John Downs owner and Lamont Ennis manager of Southern Cattle Company offered a strong set of bulls.
The sale grossed $420,450 on 188 bulls to average $2,237.
Angus bulls grossed $251,750 on 108 lots to average $2,331.
Brangus bulls grossed $96,350 on 39 lots to average $2,470.
Charolais bulls grossed $72,450 on 41 lots to average $1,767.

Twin Oaks Cattle Company / Stephens Cattle Company Complete Dispersals Double header was held November 8th at Twin Oaks Cattle Company in Dothan, Alabama.
Brandi Bruner owner of Twin Oaks Cattle Company and Ronnie Stephens owner of Stephens Cattle Company offered a great set of Angus cattle.
The sale grossed $486,812 on 135 lots to average $3,606.

Kempfer/Lemmon Angus, Charolais, and Brahman Bull Sale was held October 22nd at the SPURS Arena in Kissimmee, Florida.
Dan Beckham and Roland Starnes owners of Lemmon Angus at Kensington, George Kempfer and Henry Kempfer owners of Kempfer Cattle Company/Bear Hammock Angus, and Richard Meadows owner of Meadows Creek Charolais offered a strong set of bulls.
The sale grossed $324,600 on 155 lots to average $2,150. Angus bulls grossed $211,800 on 105 lots to average $2,056. Brahman bulls grossed $37,200 on 15 lots to average $2,567. Charolais bulls grossed $69,600 on 31 lots to average $2,320. Commercial bulls grossed $4,400 on 3 lots to average $1,467. One Brangus bull sold for $1,600.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend!
My weekend was great I was able to spend the weekend with family. I have been a little slow posting lately. Traveling going to sale and taking a little time for the holidays have put me behind. Last week November 23rd and 24th I was in Holly Springs, Mississippi for the Coldwater Cattle Company Brangus and Angus Dispersal Sales. I will get a sale reports posted ASAP.

Burns Farms Hereford 1st Annual Sale was held November 7th at Burns Farm new sale facility in Pikeville, TN.
David Burns, Dr. Phillip Burns, Joe Burns and the Burns family did a great job presenting Southern hospitality and offering an outstanding set of Hereford cattle.
The sale grossed $218,750. Bulls grossed $116,350 on 49 lots to average $2,375. Registered Hereford females grossed $35,700 on 21 lots to average $1,700. Bred commercial females grossed $34,825 on 28 lots to average $1,244. Open commercial females grossed $31,875 on 31 lots to average $1,028.
