Sausage Dressing

1 lb. ground pork sausage
4 stalks celery, diced
2 med. onions, diced
5 c. cornbread crumbs
3 c. white bread cubes, toasted
3½ c. chicken broth
2 large eggs, beaten
2 tsp. rubbed sage
¼ tsp. black pepper

Cook first 3 ingredients in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender, stirring until sausage crumbles. Drain. Combine sausage mixture, cornbread and remaining ingredients, stirring mixture well.
Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 1 hour or until browned.

Yields: 8 servings.
