Riding coat tales

Postby Bigfoot » Thu May 04, 2017 11:22 am

The local sale barn, is selling a few classy cows today, and a sprinkling of papered bulls. I sent a few bred heifers, that I didn't like the phenotype of. Decent cattle at the sale, sometimes ignites a frenzy. Thought I might be able to ride the backdraft.

Good luck. Sounds about as good a plan as any.

If you cross the river before, leave a good horse on this side.

I like the word association there. Those first cattle that go through can help everyone selling, but might run up the price on the buyer.

A special sale or a liquidation sale is a good place to sell. Lots of checkbooks with buying on their mind

On the negative side you better be sending good cattle....after selling those cadillacs you'll take beating if yours come into the ring looking 2nd class.

They brought probably what they were worth. Check hadn't came yet, but I "heard" 1275-1425. They weren't beautiful, I'm glad they are gone.
