Wisconsin Valley Fair

Postby Ohrmundt Simmentals » Sat Aug 02, 2014 8:57 pm

Posting some pics for Anne of Glacier Ridge. These are 3 of her nieces and nephew. They are actually showing calves they purchased from me. This was the first time that our calves were ever shown at the fair so it was pretty neat for me to see how they did. Over all I thought they did a really nice job with their calves.

All 3, left to right. PB Sim with white face, PB Sim out of Hoosier, 3/4 Sim 1/4 RA our of our herd sire.

This is Matt with his steer. This one got Rate of Gain Champion for the fair.

Monica with her 3/4 during showmanship.

Catherine with her Red demon which behaved wonderfully.

thank you for sharing the photos. Looks like the youth did an excellent job of fitting and showing the cattle.
It is a good feeling when you see a youth do well with something that you produced.
I know that you are proud. I certainly would be. Proud of both the kids and the cattle : )

Nice pics. I love to see the kids and their calves out there, "putting on the ritz"!
They look good.

Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but, rather, a manner of traveling!
