I had a couple water tanks that were cracked. I used some JB weld on one before but it still leaked. So I found a new use for them. Couple bags of quikcrete in bottom, couple hinges, a latch and it seems to be working fine. This one is a 100 gallon but have another 150 gallon one too.

I've fixed two of those tanks with fiberglass. I sand blast around the cracks and put some mat inside and out, neither one has leaked and the resin seems to bond well to the plastic.

I thought about glassing them . I had already replaced one and was given the other. I needed a better mineral feeder more than the tank at the time. So far the mineral has stayed fairly dry and they consume it all before I refill.

I made a couple of these and works great and keeps the mineral dry. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlnDfWWeJd8

I use the bale spear on the loader to pick up and move around if needed and have hooks on the tires to drag by 4 wheeler as well. Cows/ Bulls will push around a little (mainly when empty) but have yet to have one destroyed.

I do mine like that, with a bag and a half of concrete in each. Sit 3 of them, in a triangle, and bolt them together. Makes a nice station, and holds 300 pounds of mineral.

Making a station is a good idea. I'll have to give it a try this fall.

these are not fancy but I like then . I put mineral in one end a range meal in the other. Depending on which one I am filling they hold around 500-600 lbs. of range meal an 200-250 of mineral
