Recently got into the Cattle business- 26 years old and want to learn!

Really excited to join this site- I have used this as a tool to learn many things. I am a total newbie and do not know much- I have many people around me to help out. Looking forward to learn more.

Welcome and best of luck to you. I think it’s a good time to be getting in while prices are lower than they have been in a while and HOPEFULLY as low as they are gonna get.

:welcome: also. It is a good time to be getting into cattle as long as you are not expecting to make money for a few years since prices are down and look to stay that way for awhile. Good thing is, you won't lose the farm on high priced cattle. Those of us that have been at it awhile are feeling the downtrend in prices, and I hope that they won't go lower also.

Sure hope you stick around, nice to have some "young blood" in the mix. Also, put your general location in your profile so that when you ask questions, anyone who answers will know what area their advice is going to. It sometimes will vary according to area, especially like different grasses/forages, and different breed adaptations for different climate.
