I recently purchased 4 black angus heifers that weigh approx.500 lbs, can anyone give some pointers that I need to watch for or need to do. Thanks Shane

Welcome....I'd get a mentor. How about vaccinations, current, wormed? How are your facilities? Alot of good info out there and on the boards...just ask away. Dmc

Welcome Shane, what are your plans with the heifers? Going to breed then sell as bred heifers or keep to start the foundation of a herd or..? Yes as Susie do you know their vaccine history? What are you feeding? Giving them minerals? This list goes on and on my friend just brief us and you will get alot out of the great people on this site.
