Hey To Everybody

Postby Horticattleman » Fri Apr 14, 2006 11:24 pm

Hi, I'm new to this whole cattle business and just want to start small. 2 or 3 bred heifers. Maybe for meat, mostly just to make sure my Granddad doesn't get disappointed that I'm the first generation in like 250 years not to have cows! In central LA (where we're at) a common breed is Brangus. Any suggestions.

welcome Horticattleman. The best route with a small herd would be to stick with what is popular in your area.
All the best,Andy.
