Water trough for garden

Postby cowgirl8 » Sun Jun 08, 2014 5:07 am

I was inspired to make this, took many months to get over the backache i got from sitting it in for many hours.

I use the water in it to hand water things in my garden, although, everything is on a drip so i mainly use it before i turn the drip on. I have goldfish in there too. It doesnt stay clear, cant see the sun now but i know its there..lol

How do you fill it? Rain water or water hose? Put a little copper sulfate (blue stone) in it to keep the algae growth down. Feedstore should have some.

It is lovely. There is a product to keep water troughs clear that is safe for animals to drink.
