GMO is the only reason this nation is not starving right now. God bless those scientists.

There are so many things in life that people SHOULD be concerned about, but some people pick the oddest things.

GMO is fine, if it wasn't there would already be hundreds of thousands falling over dead from them.
As far as getting GMO free if you know anything about growing plants you know it's very easy to still get plenty. If you don't know that much then please educate yourself on plants, breeding, real science and not "internet" science. After you really know the truth and non truths then make your decision.
Not knocking you, you ask my thoughts and that's them.

all organic foods and seeds are gmo free.

Personally, I don't have a problem with gmo vegetables. They have been around a lot longer than people realize and something that keeps people from starving is a good thing in my book.

I buy seeds here because they have some cool varieties not found at stores:

Another thing, just because something is "certified organic" does not mean that it is pesticide free. think about it.

Every seed has been genetically modified, either naturally or in a lab, (you can only find the original "corn" seeds in Aztec tombs).

I could give a rats about any argument here, but this a stretch there bro. Inserting pesticide into dna is a bit different from selection over hundreds of years.

Still been genetically modified, either in a lab or naturally. Now if you want to talk about GE plants we sure can.

Was tempted to plant some GM sweet corn this year. Friend told me it was wonderful stuff. No blemishes on the whole ear and it tastes wonderful. Just couldn't see paying $60/lb though. Maybe next year if cattle prices go up.

lifeflower wrote:What are your thoughts on GMO's? Does anyone have a good recommendation on where to get GMO free seeds? Especially corn and zucchini seeds because they are some of the top genetically modified in this day and age, which sucks because I love to eat both a lot! I am really starting to getting big into going organic and want to cut GMO's from my life(Điện hoa hà nội). Does anyone grow GMO free plants and have you found them in any way different than growing "normal" seeds? Do you harvest seeds from your plants for the next year?
