Week old bottle calf worth?

Postby millstreaminn » Wed May 23, 2018 7:19 am

I ended up with a bottle bull calf last week. He's a nice, week old Connealy Comrade son. Just wondering a fair price as I am looking to sell him. I don't have time to bottle feed and I don't have any other wet cows to put him on.

Thanks- Scott

$250-300 in my area. Cows are out on grass. Everyone is finished calving. He's a bottle calf here too.

I've sold 2, one for 300 that was about a month old and a beef heifer....the second was a Uh Oh's calf I sold before it was dried off for 200...it was also a heifer, but I had nothing in it other than a few days work.... I have 2 people waiting to see if I get any others...I do not want a bottle calf this summer..

I had a newborn heifer & cow was starving calf - I gave it to a 4-H family that has purchased several show calves from us. Problem solved and made a little 8 year old super happy.
