Select Sires 7h7038 Combat

Postby Son of Butch » Thu Jan 03, 2013 3:03 am

I bought a couple of springers sired by 7h7038 Combat from Select Sires and can't find any info online about him.
I'm guessing he was in Select Sires proven line up around 2007 or maybe he was a young sire that never made it?
I don't know anything more about him, if I had his holstein registration number I'm sure I could dig up his pedigree.
These cows are smaller than average and aren't anything special to look at, but I like pedigree info for breeding.
Does anyone have any knowledge of him?

I googled "7H07038" and found this page:

http://www.selectsires.com/resources/healthdocs/cvm_results_nonlineup.html

7HO7038 OLSZEWSKI CODY-ET

Not sure if that's the bull you are looking for...but his registration number is 000130221816.

Just noticed on that same page that there is a: 7HO7048 HUNSBERGER ADDISON COMBAT. Looks like that may be the one you are looking for: 000130895998

THANK YOU Slamotto
Yes 7HO7048 Hunsberger Addison COMBAT is the sire and I was able to find his 2012 sire proof and pedigree.
I'm surprised how short both the cows are given Combat's current linear is +1.39 stature.
Thanks Again.
