Is raising a bottle calf profitable?

For the dairy folks and/or beef folks with questions about udders, milk and mastitis.

Question too broad. It can be profitable.

It can be but most likely won't be. :D If you ever want to talk to someone that can tell you what things cost down to the penny, talk to a commercial calf guy.
If you have to buy anything in a sack or over the counter, you're probably going to lose money.

Sorry, the question was a little broad. Are the calves comparable to naturally raise calves?
