It's supposed to be in the upper 50's here tonight. I'm bringing all my cattle up close to the house so the polar bears don't get them.

It was forecast to be 100 here yesterday but the smoke was so thick it only got to 90.

Yup, time to start back on that never ending list. This cool weather thinned the mosquitoes out. You couldn't hardly breathe a couple days ago.

Might be something to this 'early winter' thing after all. I moved an empty mineral tub yesterday and some red wasps fell out on the ground..alive, but not flying or angry. They hibernate under cover in winter, beginning in the fall, which is still weeks away normally.
I've never seen them do it this early.

I have posted them before, I will have to find my camera as an iPhone doesn't cut it.
We are in the migratory path, this could be an unusual year with the storm. The little birds next stop is the Rockport area before Mexico.
This picture is from last year with five or six on every feeder what you can't capture is the trees working alive with them. I have some Nat Geo quality ones in photo bucket if I could get to them.
