Bull snakes started showing up this last week. I haven't heard of anyone seeing a rattler yet but they will be along any day now.

we usually see them out and angry in April, but I haven't seen one yet

Somebody, migrant worker be my guess, killed a diamondback rattler in the road here this week. I took a stick and threw it about 40 ft off the road so I wouldn't have to smell his rotting carcass every time I drove by.
where'd it come from, how'd it get there?
