Cooper's coming along well

Postby Hook » Thu May 08, 2014 5:46 pm

Seems everything is falling into place with him. He's socialized to the family and used to welcomed guests, yet on guard for anything unfamiliar. Trying to herd the yardbirds, ballsy with the one cow we have here at the house for now, and smart as a whip. Even snickers, the Aussie x lab mix is learning from him already. It's almost as if he turned a switch on with her and she is wanting to "work" more than "retrieve"

Cooper is 12 weeks now

Our old heeler would shake his toys so hard he would rupture the blood vessels in his ears. They would fill up the size of a baseball. Finally the cartilage was broke so bad they wouldn't stand up anymore.

Haha. He was too young for the flea pill. The fleas were eating him up so we tried the flea collar as a last ditch effort. It's helped but doesn't get them all. He gets his next set of shots Sunday and then he will get the pill.
