State regs are strict on hog disposal there are slaughter facilities that buy the hogs October through April around here. Problem is getting live ones on a trailer.

I have never sold any know some people that have.
Some load the trap on a trailer
My trap is to big to go on a trailer and I usually have it in the woods were it would be hard to get a trailer in.
You very rarely catch the big hogs in a small trap.

Gotcha, I wonder what they pay for them when you bring them in.

Depending on fuel and time involved may not be bad but you definitely need to carry a decent load of them.

Better than market price for #1s when you figure $0 inputs.

There are some guys around Seymour/Benjamin that's all they do is trap hogs all winter.
Outside looking in they seem to be doing well.

What highfallutin grocery store was that at? People who pay that much for salami need their head examined! Love all the marketing crap for the tree hugger and yuppie sets - crafted with kindness, handcrafted lol.

I like how they claim its uncured when it's illegal to sell if it's not cured.

not only that, if it's not cured, it's not salami
