Postby grannysoo » Tue Apr 07, 2009 9:24 pm

Dry Rub for BBQ

1 pound Dark Brown Cane Sugar
1/4 cup Smoked Paprika
1/4 cup Lawry's Seasoned Salt
4 Tbs. Ground Pepper
6 cloves crushed Garlic
2 Tbs. Cumin

Mix well. Rub on to and into meat before bbq.
Use remaining mix to coat meat when ready to bbq.

On chicken & turkey, rub between skin and meat
and then coat on top of skin.

Base ingredients are close to what I use. Will try it. Its amazing how changing a few herbs and spices changes the flavor.
