Something for Sky

Postby Jogeephus » Sun Dec 21, 2014 8:22 pm

Sky, my wife made this today and when she told me how she made it I thought of you. This is YOUR kind of fudge. Cheese and chocolate. I know it sounds odd but it's actually incredible. And easy to make to boot.

Velveeta Fudge

2 lbs powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 sticks butter
1/2 lb velveeta cheese
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans

Mix sugar and cocoa together. Melt butter and Velveeta together. Add vanilla and pecans. Add sugar cocoa mix in this. Spread in buttered 8x8 glass dish and let cool then cut in squares.

Nothin' prettier than a red Ford truck, a Massey Ferguson tractor and a red-n-white Hereford sittin' on the farm.

Aaron, I take it you don't eat fudge or chocolate in your part of the world. FYI, its candy and you don't make a meal out of it.

Glad you liked it Alan. I was surprised when she told me how she used cheese. Now, just don't go dying of diabetes so best pace yourself with it. :lol2:

Thank you for the recipe. I am going to try it. I wonder how it would taste with the Queso Velveeta? I have a recipe for Double Chocolate Chip cookies with Jalapeno that are good.
