That doesn't matter TB, it does not have to be 'your' tack, could be a neighbors or friend's...as long as the photo is yours :D

Not a single entry for this category so no contest.

I will be off for the month of March now as I am very busy here with work and health issues. Back in for surgery on the 17th and then I am expected to be back at work right away as there will be no one else here.

That's too bad, I'd have thought there'd be some for sure... Turns out the old saddle we had we must have tossed out... We have a bunch of bits and pieces of other tack but nothing complete enough you'd be able to make out what it is.. a bunch of dried up leather straps, etc. I have a bunch of cow halters, but they don't really qualify for old

good luck with that... do *not* like the sound of that 'back at work right away' maybe some family members need priority fixing?

I thought there might have been enough horse people on the forum to get an entry or two. Ah well, the colour challenge did well.
Still haven't got my old camera back from repair so trying to find my way to good pics with a new brand - it's not as easy as you'd think.

My camera has quit working--or quit working right anyway. Took 3 different "old tack" pics from different places and every one is WAY over exposed. Something wrong with the light sensor I suppose---time for a new camera.

I'm not sure but maybe this is old tack. I think it might have been part of a mule harness?

I got an old pair of hames from my grandpa's barn no telling how old they are.
Have my Great grandpa's push plow still using it.

Got a pushplow here too, and a georgia stock. These of course, are not the pics I took for this contest, but you can see the trees and hames.

I would have entered my dads saddle that he has had since he was 4. I have it now and it is over 85 years old as it was a trade that his granddad got for him on a bill outstanding at their store.

I will post some pics when I get a chance to take some new ones.
