So glad to read that you are headed home to TAKE IT EASY AND MEND !!!!!!. Beats the alternative, and i won't be long before you are able to do stuff if you take it slow now. I am no one to talk, because I get very impatient, but your wife needs you to get better and we sure need you here!!!!

Well I don't agree with anything but the first sentence. Getting old beats the alternative, dying sure doesn't look easy to me from the outside looking in, I'd be lying if I said I'm not afraid of dying, at least I know what I have here and where I'm going.

About a week ago, I was checking the mineral feeder. In less than a heartbeat, the world was spinning around me. Like a flash, I recognized that I was going to faint. I went down, I barely hit the ground with my knees when I regained full consciousness.

I have a friend who is an EMS employee. He took my blood pressure. It was 106/64. My pulse was 54.

I called my brother and ask that he and I make contact once a day. Because if I drop dead, I don't want my 2 dogs to die of thirst.

But one thing this taught me: GOING OUT LIKE A LIGHT IS THE EASIEST TASK THAT A HUMAN WILL EVER COMPLETE.

Dying is easy. The devil is in getting everything in order while you are still in a conscious state.

Becoming dehydrated will make you dizzy and you can pass out. I have been taking lisinopril/htz 20-12.5 for the past thirty years. We have to adjust the level of the HTZ in the summer when out working and sweating . My doctor is aware of this and works with me on it.

Just seeing this thread now, been a few days since getting on CT. I am so GLAD that you are back home and back to posting. Do as the medical professionals tell you. I hope your recovery is quick and uneventful. :)

Quit whining.
Read a book.
Watch Gun Smoke on tv.
Andy and Barney reruns are not that bad.
How about online poker ? If you like poker you can spend a lot of time with that.

HAha, I can relate to that GB, I had 4 lonnnng days and nights in hospital with my knee. Probably why I recovered so well, no one could hold me down when I got home, just had to do things. Not saying that you should do the same though, different situation, you just gotta put yourself in their hands for a bit.

That was my big problem when my foot had me down. I read an incredible book, American Brutus, about John Wilkes Booth. TV was awful, but at least there were Bowl games and the NFR. I did a lot of movie watching, that helped. Good luck with your boredom, and I'm glad you're on the mend!
