AI work is done

Postby gizmom » Sat Dec 30, 2017 4:18 pm

Always nice to see a job finished! We AI’d the last group today. Doing a happy dance! The 6th we put eggs in and then the bulls can take over.

I know the feeling. I bred my last ones this week. Most have passed over. Went well.

It does relieve some stress. Congratulations

BR

Hope the rest pass over for you, it is still to early to tell on our synced group. We have had a few heifers pass over (the ones Mike bred) and some recycle (ones I bred). That is why I find it so hard to do the AI work Mike is really good and I am not, but I won’t get better unless I try. We did ET work today the embryologist told us to keep doing whatever it was we were doing because he was able to put eggs in 33out of the 37 we had set up. So now we have to wait to see how many stick. I am just glad the last big group is done now we can take a little break. The boss is ready to go camping, in truth I think he is just worn out and wants to sit by a campfire and take a well deserved breather.
