I need a little more horse pasture. I’d like to try an annual. What do yaw recommend.

Horses most preferred the annual cool-season rye grass, but among the warm-season grasses, they highly preferred tiff and supergrass

not sure about grazing. But teff is awesome horse hay and now is the time to put it out.

Contact your county extension agent. They can recommend grasses for your specific area and should give you a list of certified dealers of seed.
