Horse hay on pallets

Postby Bigfoot » Fri Jan 29, 2016 10:46 am

I know yaw get a kick out of horse people, but I gotta post this. I hate putting my square bales for my horses on pallets. The bottom run always seems to absorb enough moisture to arouse suspicion. This year, I put a row of pallets, and then plastic, and then a row of pallets. It seems to have kept as well as it would in a loft. Enjoy picking on me, I deserve it.
A tumble bug makes a hard livin. Why? Cause that's just the way be nice is.

Stacking hay on pallets is a good thing besides the nails. I don't do square bales though.
I like horses as long as their on someone else's property.
Your head should be used for more than a hat rack.

Sounds like a smart move to me.

I keep my squares on pallets...but, I only buy 20 or so at a time, so it goes pretty quick.
