That was cool. People today would throw a fit over the arena fence. The guy's horse tickled me. It was much help at times. It just stood there watching the guy struggle. Boy were those calves big!

I had forgotten I started this thread. I love old pictures and videos of horses. That video was shot about the time AQHA was in its infancy. I doubt either of those horses were part of the foundation, but it was interesting to see what horses looked like back in the day.

BF if you Fb the Texan has lots of old ranching photos from back in the 1800 to early 1900 and some modern day ranching on the pitchfork, matador, trr and etc(you know the ones that watch their cows fro the kitchen window)

Cool video.
A friend of mine has an early 1970's photo of his dad putting wraps on a calf while his horse watches over his shoulder on 28 ft of slack.

Times have changed.. Old stockyard field man here was from OK. Said they use to drive out with a stock trailer loaded with calves, they would set their Horse beside the the trailer gate,, man in the trailer would let a calf out the gate and they would run back to the moma and rope it
