Improving! Thanks for update.

John, a couple of mine have lost a portion of their switch during winter. They lay down in the late evening when the ice has partially thawed. The water portion freezes part of the switch into the ice. When they rise, it pulls out part of the switch. The evidence is visable as a bloody switch and the portion of the switch frozen in the ice. I had a calf that pulled off 70 percent of her switch in that fashion.

She's still a nice looking cow. I love the long torso.

When the temps get high a pure Angus slows down but the F1 Brangus do very well. This February 13 bull calf will be ready to be processed as grass fed ground beef in 4-5 months. We have more demand for F1 Brangus beef than we can fill this year.
