Old Stinkeye

Postby cowgirl8 » Fri Nov 03, 2017 9:24 am

Trying to find some pictures and came across Stinkeye... He was a outstanding bull and a lot of our older cows are out of him. Passed on the white around the eye and textured hair. We have one bull out of him we use now..He also makes outstanding calves.. If I had to guess his breeding, it would be half brangus half sim....It was so long ago I cant remember who he'd be out of...but we ran sim bulls back then and his mother was brangus..but not papered. We bought his grandmother from a old rancher who was going out of business. He ran old school brangus and I have no idea what kind of bull he ran. His cattle though were deep bodied blubber butts. His mother was a calf born from the cattle we bought from him that we had to bottle feed..That was the first and last time we bought any cattle, had really bad luck with them...

Any full body pics or pics of progeny? I enjoy seeing pics of cattle that a breeder has raised for a few fenerations. It shows what his breeding program will produce.
