First fire this fall.

May not be cold enough to need it. But I sure like my fireplace.
ImageI got the oyster shell idea from this place. Built in late 1800s, known locally as "The Shell House". Nothing is left of it today. I went in it as a kid and told myself that when I get rich, I would build myself an oyster shell house. Guess I'll settle for a shell fire place.

That's pretty cool. Bet you used a local product for it, huh?

Beautiful and very unique. Do you have an aquarium in your boat?

Yes, right here local. My wife, daughters and I scrubbed the mud off, then soaked them in bleach water for a week.

No but I have though about it. I know a man that has a big salt water aquarium in his house. He has a piece of coral in it that he caught off Tarpon Springs waaay back. They'ld throw away the key for that today.

I met a family from close around you in the 90's. They were trawling back to AL from the TX opener years ago, and had a big slab with a aquarium in the wheel house.

I'll have to ask around to see who that was. You don't remember their name, or boat name? What color was the boat? I'm guessing they had a water tight top on tank. To keep from sloshing in sloppy weather.
