Progress

Postby Hook2.0 » Fri Jun 15, 2018 5:56 pm

Reguardless of what anyone thinks, progress is being made. remains of servicemen Kia and pow from the Korean War are being brought home as we speak. Started before the summit, and a large part of the agreement.
That’s not a small deal

the only people NOT thinking progress is being made are brainless liberals who somehow attribute this to obama.

I think I read somewhere that over 5,000 service members were still missing in North Korea. It is definitely BIG Progress. Thank you President Trump.

One thing you will never hear a southern boy say....Duct tape won't fix that, except, even duct tape can't fix stupid. It can, however, muffle it.

From a Fox news article:

About 7,700 military or civilian personnel remain missing from the Korean War, according to the DPAA.

"Worldwide there are about 83,000 Department of Defense personnel across the globe that have not been accounted for ... going back to World War II," said spokesman Chuck Prichard.

"We estimate about 34,000 are possibly recoverable," Prichard said. "The rest would be, like, deep water losses that we don't have the technology to get to right now."

How about opening the tombs of the unknown soldiers and take DNA samples and identify them.

Chuck Prichard said it, makes no difference who reported it.

I agree. Its time to get past politics... ON BOTH SIDES... and realize there are good things happening that will benefit every one.

It surprises me how many people are against this expecting certain failure. So what if it does blow up in the presidents face. At least he is giving it an effort. You can't start a peace process without speaking the first words. Surely there will be problems but nothing is insurmountable.

I agree, especially, if you consider only USN personnel. He is saying all DoD personnel which includes all 5 branches + contractors. I think tho, he was wrong to throw in that "like deep water losses" as according to USN records there were around 37,000 US Navy personnel killed due to enemy action in WW2.
(does not include USMC casualties)

It is a reflection of the depth of the division in America. The party out of power wishes the worse for the party in power. I don't see change in those dynamics until we reach crisis.

You see it all over our society, not just in politics. It shows how petty people have become.
